Filipino people have a habit of pointing with their lips. They will pucker their lips and gesture with it in the direction of what they wish to call attention to.
PSSSSSTTTTTT
It seems that if you want to get someone's attention you don't say "hey you", or "excuse me", you give them a "psssstttt". The further away you are from the person whose attention you wish to acquire, the longer your PPPPPSSSSSSTTTTT!
TOUCHING
The Filipino people seem to be comfortable with touching each other in public. It is a very common sight to see heterosexual women holding hands or even walking arm in arm. Men are not quite as blatant as women, but is not unusual to see two men walking arm in arm. We did not observe any men holding hands.
