The voltage in the Philippines is 220/60hz. The plugs are the same two prong types used in the United States. You will need a hair dryer with a 220 switch. Many modern hair dryers have this feature. If yours does not, 110/220 power adapter can be purchased for $15-$20 in most any store that sells appliances. Read the label carefully before you invest in a converter though. Many converters only work with high wattage output devices like hair dryers so attempting to power items with smaller power requirements may not be possible.
