Ifugao women in traditional dress at viewpoint overlooking the town of Banawe. These women have learned long ago that they can make much more money dressing up in traditional garb and being photographed by tourists than working in the rice fields. They insisted we take their pictures for which we gave them P10 each. A fourth woman showed up just after we were done and was rather mad to have missed out. The outside two women wore traditional head dresses which contained bird feathers and animal bones. I don't thing the middle woman's sock hat was very traditional but I didn't have the heart to make her take it off or get out of the photo.
