The tricycle is the most popular form of affordable transportation on Palawan. These tricycles are standard dirt bikes with special sidecars welded to them. They typically hold as many as three passengers, although we saw some of a different construction that would hold as many as five. A ride across town cost 2 pesos per person during the day and 3 pesos per person at night.
